Dr. Albert B. Boholst has appeared on television, is a lecturer and has been quoted in dental publications.  He is currently the periodontal expert for the federally funded "Close the Gap" foundation which is conducting research to reduce infant mortality in Tampa. Dr. Boholst is also the first dentist in Hillsborough County to receive a Standard Proficiency Certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry for the DELight Dental laser.  In addition, he was a Founding Member of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has achieved certification to treat patients with the Invisalign "Invisible Braces" system.
 
Dr. Boholst attended high school in Crystal River, Fl and then went on to complete his undergraduate and dental school education at the University of Florida.  Since graduating, Dr. Boholst has committed himself to providing state of the art dentistry by training at some of the most prestigious advanced dental education centers in the world. He is a present or past member of the organizations listed below.

Outside of the office, Dr. Boholst spends most of his time with his wife, Candice and his two young sons Cale and Caden.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports (basketball, tennis, golf) and especially enjoys watching the  teams of the University of Florida.  Go Gators!
